The Four Charities
When you support Somebody Cares, you know your donation is going to support the frontline projects of the following four charities.
Somebody Cares is the only consortium which helps homeless people, people affected by HIV and AIDS, substance misusers and their families and prisoners abroad. Already we help many thousands of disadvantaged people each year, but there are many more who need our support.
Addaction is a leading drug and alcohol treatment charity. Founded in 1967, the charity aims to ensure that there will be free, accessible and appropriate substance misuse services available to all those who need them.
Addaction works in partnership with young people, schools, the police, prison and probation service, and many others to ensure that we are providing the best possible services. Addaction currently runs 50 projects in 18 counties across the UK.
Addaction helps individuals, communities and the friends and families of drug users to tackle the effects of substance misuse

Homeless Link is the national membership organisation for frontline
homelessness agencies in England.
Our mission is to be a catalyst that will help to bring an end to
homelessness.
Our two goals are:
- To raise standards in the services that support homeless people and tackle homelessness.
- To influence the development of policy, strategy and investment at all levels of government.
Our member organisations provide services through: hostels, day centres,
outreach and resettlement agencies, housing advice centres, youth projects,
health projects, welfare rights groups, regional and sub-regional homelessness
networks, refuges, drug and alcohol services and church groups.
We work in close collaboration with our members, partners, allies and with
national, regional and local government:
- to combat the causes of homelessness
- to provide high quality and innovative services to help people move on to settled accommodation and
- to work to reduce the risk of new people falling into homelessness.
